 STUDIO’S POLICY

The policies are made to help provide you the best experience with the best possible results. By
booking an appointment, you are agreeing to these terms. Please ensure you read all policies and FAQs before booking your appointment. 
  • All appointments require a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT that goes towards your appointments
  • If you are more than 10-15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be subjected to an extra charge of $50, after 15 minutes your appointment will be canceled, and another deposit is required to rebook.
  • 72 hours’ notice is required if you need to reschedule an appointment. Only ONE time
    rescheduling is allowed. If you fail to do so your deposit will be forfeited.
  • Touch up appointments – Only ONE time rescheduling is allowed.
  • If you no show without giving any notice, you will be charged 100% of the value of your appointment.
  • If you have had ANY work done by a previous artist, please submit clear photos to get approved before booking. All previous work is considered a full service and subjected to an extra charge of $60+ depending on the severity of each case. Please email clear photos of your brows in natural lighting to: info@thebrowcreator.ca. Failure to get approval and the work can not be done will result in loss of deposit.
  •  NO guests including kids or pets allowed due to cross contamination and interruption.
  • All results will vary per person depending on: skin, blood type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, any medications taken and aftercare.
  • Pre and post-care instructions are sent out in an email confirmation when booking. It is the client’s responsibility to follow all instructions.
  •  PRICING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.
  •  We reserve the right to refuse service or fire a client for any given reason. Aggressive behavior in any form will not be tolerated.
DISQUALIFICATIONS/RESTRICTIONS
PERMANENT MAKEUP IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO ARE/HAVE ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING
  • Actively positive with COVID 19 or have been in contact with someone who has been tested positive recently
  • Received the COVID vaccine within the last 2 weeks
  • Pregnant/breastfeeding ( at risk & sensitive due to changes in hormones)
  • History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring (Ombre is fine for some people, email forphone consultation)
  •  Accutane in the past year
  • Skin irritations: Psoriasis, Eczema, Shingles, active cold sores, acne, rashes, sunburn & lesions near the treated area
  • Deep wrinkles in the brow area might give brows an uneven look
  • Diabetic/high blood pressure. This must be under control (please consult doctor)
  • Chemotherapy/Radiation (please consult doctor)
  •  Blood thinning medications
  • Viral infections and/or diseases
  • Epilepsy (fainting/seizures)
  • Anemic (can faint easily)
  • Under 18 years old
  •  Botox/Fillers within 4 weeks of your appointment
  •  Facial surgery (must wait 3-4 months)
  • Use of retinol/retinoids (VITAMIN A) – must be off at least for 4 weeks as it affects healing and skin sensitivity
  • If you have any transmittable blood related conditions or diseases such as Hepatitis B,C or HIV
  • Suffer from bleeding disorder such as hemophilia or have healing disorders
  •  Pacemaker or have major heart problems
  • Any skin allergies to pigmentation or makeup
  • Skin cancer
  • If you have a scar in the procedure area, this area will be more difficult to implant pigment
  • Taking steroid medication
  •  If you are allergic to Lidocaine, Epinephrine, Prilocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine in a cream or gel form are typically used as anesthesia/numbing
  •  Chemical peel within 2 weeks of your appointment
  • Brow tinting /Brow lamination within 4 weeks of your appointment
  •  Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system / healing would make you NOT a good candidate for micropigmentation procedures
  •  For Lip Blush:If you have active cold sores or history of cold sores (MUST take antiviral herpes medication a week prior to appointment
  •  For Lip Blush – If you are a smoker, you may not heal properly & may have zero retention.

For dark lip neutralization services, smoking will cause darkness in lips to reappear

If you do not clear all of the qualifications mentioned above, please DO NOT book an appointment.
 
Inquire with your doctor first. If you arrive at your appointment with any of the contraindications and not clearing it with your Doctor or The Brow Creator, the service will be subjected to a cancellation and forfeiting your deposit.

The Brow Creator is not responsible and or liable for any changes in shape or colour once you leave our studio. Although we as artists can do our part by giving our best efforts to provide you with optimal results, the ultimate responsibility after that is on the client to protect and take care of their tattoo until they are fully healed to ensure great results. The Brow Creator offers no guarantee for micropigmentation results.
There are too many factors that contribute to the overall look, healing process and retention of your tattoos, which can result in a less than desirable outcome. Individual results will vary.
It is crucial for clients to follow Pre-Care and After Care Instructions to help achieve the best results possible during and after the process. Permanent makeup is an art and results are never guaranteed.
 
Additional touch ups will be done at the expense of the client.
 
It is the client’s responsibility to read all Policies, Pre/Aftercare instructions, Contraindications,Disclaimers in its entirety. Once you book an appointment and a deposit has been made, it is an automatic agreement to accept and comply with all the terms. Deposits are all non-refundable so please make sure you have read through everything 🙂
