BROWS
IF I HAD RECENTLY GOTTEN THE COVID VACCINE, CAN I GET MY EYEBROWS DONE?
- Because the vaccine is still very new and we don’t know the side effects and reaction it mighthave with permanent makeup as it is still considered an open wound and foreign substances are entering the body, the vaccine might try to fight it and cause an allergic reaction.
- We suggest you reschedule your appointment or book 2 weeks after you are getting yourvaccine.
WHICH TECHNIQUE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
- If you are someone who has zero natural eyebrows, the Powder Ombré technique is bestsuited and recommended. It is also best for those with oily skin. If you have almost none to zero natural eyebrow hairs, getting microbladed will just end up looking like lines on your face. Microblading is also not recommended for those who have oily skin as the oil and sebum in your skin causes the hair stroke lines to become blurred in a matter of months, which will require more touch-ups.
- It is a great option for those who wear less makeup but desire the filled in eyebrow look.
- Powder ombre can look natural too. It’s not always fake and drawn on.
- Great for all skin types (dry, oily, combination) especially those with oily skin complexion.
- This technique is less invasive to the skin as we graze the surface of the skin, whereMicroblading cuts into the skin which can possibly scar the skin.
HOW LONG DOES PERMANENT MAKEUP LAST?
- Although this is a permanent tattoo, this still does fade overtime. With the first touch up done, itshould last anywhere from 1-3 years. The longevity of your tattoo depends on your skin type, style chosen, and your lifestyle (skin care routines, tanning, chemical peels, after care, etc).
- It is not meant to be no maintenance at all, but low maintenance.
- Those who have more oily skin may require a more frequent touch up.
- Improper aftercare can affect the results and the retention.
- Uneven pigmentation can happen and this is resulted from poor healing, infection, bleedingand many other causes. The follow up appointment can correct any uneven appearance.
- Generally, the results are excellent. However, a perfect result is not a realistic expectation afteran initial application. Some may not need a touch up as it is optional, but we do recommend 2 sessions to achieve optimal desired results. However in certain cases a third session may be needed with its corresponding fee. The initial touch up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial session.
- Final results cannot be guaranteed as each individuals skin type is unique and holds pigmentsdifferently. Some may require more touch up sessions than others.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
- It can take up to 2 weeks for phase 1 (darkening and peeling) but it varies per person. Sometake longer than others and some may peel within a week.
- Our skin takes about 4-5 weeks to fully heal and for the colour to settle. This is why touchup isonly recommended after 6 weeks of initial appointment.
- Those with oily skin may peel faster.
- Please DO NOT pick at it as you will pick off the pigment. The scabbing is completely normal. Once the scab falls off naturally, your brows will first look foggy then it will appear darker and your brows will be fuller giving it a more natural look within a few weeks.
- Proper aftercare is an extremely important aspect as this can affect the overall results of yournew brows. You must follow the pre/aftercare instructions provided to you to achieve the best possible results.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS
- Lymph fluids on the first day (not visible).
- Your brows will be very dark in the next 4 days onwards until they have completely peeled.
- Scabbing is normal
- Brows will be very dry itchy (apply light ointment)
- Brows will look like they have absolutely no colour when the scabs come off.
- Once they have all peeled, the colour may seem fuzzy but they will resurface over the next fewweeks.
- Everyone’s healing time is different so don’t compare yourself to others.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE ITSELF?
- The first initial session can take up anywhere from 3-3.5 hours as this includes consultation,photos/videos, brow mapping, numbing and the procedure itself so plan accordingly. Don’t rush your artist.
- Make sure to eat something before your appointment.
IS IT PAINFUL?
- Everyone has a different response to pain. This is a cosmetic tattoo that uses a needle sodiscomfort and mild pain is expected, but 50% of clients fall asleep during the appointment.
- If you are extremely sensitive and have a strong fear of needles, this cosmetic procedure is notgood for you.
- Pain level has been reported by my clients around 0-3 / 10.
- Topical numbing is used throughout the process to alleviate any discomfort and make it morecomfortable for you but there can still be pain as anesthetics work better on some people than others.
- You may feel sore after the procedure when the numbing cream wears off but it isn’tunbearable.
- The great thing is that there is no severe swelling, but the skin around the eyebrows will beslightly red which only lasts about a day. There is no downtime needed as you can go to work / school right after.
HOW IS THE SHAPE DECIDED?
The shape is determined by the clients natural facial structure, existing brow hair, as well as their personal preference. The shape must be agreed upon by both the artist and client before proceeding with the tattoo.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I MAY NOT RETAIN ANY PIGMENT AT ALL?
Yes. This does and can happen every once in a while . We cannot predict how skin reacts and heals. If this does happen, we will have to evaluate the products you use on your face, medications, vitamins etc. A third appointment may be required.
Some clients’ skin may react to trauma of the tattoo and your skin may try to push out the “foreign substance”/pigment out of the body by producing extreme scabbing, so the pigment will eventually disappear with the scabbing. There is a condition called Pigment Allergy (PPD Allergy, a condition known by dermatologist) or Autoimmune Disease symptoms (client may not even be aware of it). The skin would have overreacted and become super sensitive to the pigment and will reject it once skin heals.
HOW DO I PRESERVE MY TATTOO ONCE HEALED?
- Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Glycolic acid, Apple cider vinegar, Vitamin E and C, and retinols that can be found in Anti-aging / skin lightening/ skin brightening / acne products must be kept away from the tattooed area as continued use could deteriorate the pigment resulting in a bleached out color.
- Wear Sunscreen after brows have been healed (after 4 weeks) Exposure to the sun over timecan cause premature fading and discoloration of the pigment. You can wear large sunglasses and a hat for further protection.
- Rinse and dry the area thoroughly when in contact with chlorine or salt water as this also fadespigment.
- If you are having laser resurfacing or laser hair removal after your tattoo has healed, pleaseinform the laser technician. Continue at your own discretion. Laser procedures may darken, lighten, or discolor the tattooed area.
- This treatment does fade after 1-3 years depending on your skin and lifestyle. Touch-ups willbe necessary for maintenance.
- If you are a smoker, have oily skin, an iron deficiency, or a very strong immune system, yourpigment will not last as long as others
IS IT REALLY NECESSARY FOR TOUCH UPS?
- This will depend on your preference. The first appointment is about structure, design, andbuilding a layer of layer of pigment for a very natural look and a more defined shape.
- Do not expect perfection after one session.
- Touch up is optional but is recommended after 6 weeks. During touch up is when we can fixany areas that may not have healed properly or patchy (if needed)
- If you are opting for a bolder, more filled-in look, or need more layering for dimension, then atouch-up is recommended to layer more pigment into your skin
- Some may need a 3rd session to complete the process. Especially if you have little to no hairto begin with, have scar tissue, oily skin type, didn’t follow aftercare properly, or we are trying to cover up an old tattoo.
- After you have completed your perfecting sessions, it is recommended that you should waituntil after one year to go over the area again. Even if it has faded before one year, you can fill in with makeup and wait at least a full year before coming back. We want to keep the skin’s integrity.
WHY ARE TOUCHUPS NECESSARY AND WHY ARE THEY NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE?
Skin is unpredictable. Skin is not perfect. Even if we apply the perfect amount of ink, perfect shape, everything, there is always a chance that YOUR skin does not want to cooperate and fully retain the ink. The immediate touchup after the first session is always recommended to perfect any areas that have faded, to make minor adjustments to color or shape, and to saturate the skin with more ink so the effects last longer and the long term fadeout is more even. It is optional for you because not everyone may need a touch up after the first initial session. Sometimes the brows heal beautifully after the first session, and the client wants to wait longer to get the touchup. This is up to you, which is why the touch ups for brows require a separate fee according to how long you’ve waited. The longer you wait, the more the touch up costs.
WHAT IF I HAVE PREVIOUS TATTOO DONE?
- If you previously had any sort of work done on your eyebrows whether it is powder ombré ormicoblading, you must consult before and get approved before booking an appointment. You can book a free consultation.
- Any previous work whether it is 2 years ago or 10 years ago and still has pigment/colour in theskin, it will still be considered correction and correction fees apply as additional work and pigment are used.
- Correction work is more difficult and there is no guarantee that an ombré brows can beachieved as the goal of this correction is to cover the old tattoo by neutralizing any discoloration and to reshape the brows.
- Those who have a previous tattoo may require more touch up sessions to get the desiredresults as skin that has been worked on can take longer due to previous scarring and pigment already present.
- This may not work for everyone as not all work can be corrected. It must be at least 80% fadedfor us to perform a correction.
- Please be realistic when getting your eyebrows done as we can’t always get your desiredshape due to your previous tattoo unless you get a removal.
Results cannot be guaranteed
- Additionally, we also offer non-laser tattoo removal for those brows that are too saturated to correct using Li-Ft, which is an all-natural saline pigment removal solution. Li-FT contains no chemicals and no acids. Li-FT Ingredients: Sterile Water, Sea Salt, Orange Flower Extract, Lemon Extract in Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Calendula Extract, Hydroxyethyl cellulose, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate Li-FT is made by Li Pigments. a highly credentialed, inspected and licensed cosmetics manufacturing lab located in New Jersey, USA. (left brow, right brow, and center with both brows) Photo submissions must be free of any makeup, filters, taken in good lighting, and clear in quality.
WHAT TO EXPECT ABOUT THE PROCEDURE
- CONSULTATION: This consists of filling out the consent forms, photos/videos will be taken, a discussion your brow goals, choosing the colour that best suits your skin tone and colour of your natural brow hair, as well as mapping the brow and designing a shape that frames your facial bone structure and features.
- THE OUTLINING: After you are 100% satisfied with the brow shape and size from brow mapping, we will then proceed with the outlining of the brow. This is done without any numbing in order to open the skin first.
- APPLYING TOPICAL NUMBING CREAM: A 5% topical numbing cream will be applied directly onto the brows.
- TATTOO PROCESS: Once the eyebrows have been numbed, the tattoo process begins one brow at a time until the desired colour is achieved. Numbing gel is applied between each time to ensure you are comfortable and not in pain. All tools are disposable one time use and in sterilized packages. 100% vegan pigment used.
- COMPLETION: Once the tattoo process has completed, we will clean the brows and measure them again to ensure they are symmetrical. Gift bag with aftercare goodies and after instructions will be given. Photos /Videos will also be taken.

LIP BLUSH
IS LIP BLUSH THE RIGHT TECHNIQUE FOR ME?
- If you are someone who has pale lips, dark lips, allergic to lipstick, have fillers, lost definition inyour lips, wanting fuller lips, then this is a great procedure for you
- You can have a lipstick look or more of a nude / lip tint result or just lip liner
- Everybody’s skin takes the tattoo differently. We start light and can build colour during touch up
HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH LAST?
- The retention of the lip tattoo depends on different factors such as the colour you choose, yourlifestyle, touch ups, and how you care for them before and after your appointment
- On average, lip blush lasts anywhere from 1-3 years, with most people wanting a touch upyearly.
- Some of these factors can cause lip blush to fade faster:
- Smoking
- Long sun exposure without SPF
- Oily skin
- Iron deficiency
- Exfoliants
IS IT PAINFUL?
- Lips are one of the most sensitive areas in the body. The skin is very thin
- Everyone has a different response to pain. This is a cosmetic tattoo that uses a needle sodiscomfort and mild pain is expected
- If you are extremely sensitive and have a strong fear of needles, this cosmetic procedure is notgood for you
- Bruising CAN happen if improper pre care is not followed
- Pain level has been reported by my clients around 4-6 / 10. You can take Tylenol 1 an hourbefore the appointment if needed
- We apply topical numbing only on open skin throughout the process to alleviate any discomfortand make it more comfortable for you but there can still be pain as anesthetics work better on some people than others
- You may feel sore after the procedure when the numbing cream wears off but it isn’tunbearable
WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS LIKE?
- Some swelling, tenderness, slight bruising can occur after the procedure but this is normal andcan last a few days depending on your lip sensitivity
- There is a chance your lips may look like you got lip fillers but this will subside in 48 hours or so
- The healing process for dark lip neutralization is different from regular lip blush.
- The healing process may vary per person but on average, it is about 7 days for the scabbing. Itcan take several weeks for the colour to fully blossom and can go through a transition of colors before the desired colour appears. Especially for lip neutralization
WILL THIS PROCEDURE TRIGGER COLD SORES?
Lip Blush may trigger cold sores or carriers of the herpes simplex virus. To prevent this from occurring, it is highly recommended to take antiviral medication prescribed from your family doctor such as Zorivax 5 days prior, the day of, and 5 days after your procedure even if you have never had cold sores before. NO EXCEPTIONS
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS?
DAY 2 – Swelling will go down and lips will go darker
DAY 3 – Lips will start to peel/scab (don’t ever pick) It will be very dry.
DAY 4 – Peeling continues
DAY 5-7 – All peeling is gone. Lips can still feel very dry. Continue ointment
CAN I STILL GET LIP FILLERS?
- Yes Getting lip blush doesn’t interfere, but it must be at least 5 weeks apart from each other.
CAN WE GO OUTSIDE OF THE LIP LINE?
- Yes we can , but only 2mm and no more. The skin on the lips is not the same as on the faceand things can look unnatural and get unpredictable when we tattoo too far outside the natural lip line. We draw the shape based on your natural lips. We are not changing your lip shape, but simply enhancing and creating a more crisp shape.
- We stop once we see the pores on the skin.
HOW IS THE COLOUR CHOSEN?
- We advise everyone to bring in their favourite lipstick/lip gloss colour that they use every dayand we will try to mix colours to get as close to it as possible. Bright red is not recommended as this will not be your everyday colour.
- There is no set colour for everyone. The same colour/mixture used on another person will bedifferent on you as everyone’s lip undertone is different and unique to them.
- For dark lip neutralization, you won’t be able to choose the colour in the first session. The firstsession is purely neutralization. Depending on how dark your lips are and how they heal, we will either do your touch up session at 8 weeks or 12 weeks. The next few sessions will depend on how they healed and how much of the darkness was lifted. Once we have neutralized the lips back to a pink tone then we can go ahead and proceed with your desired colour.
LIP NEUTRALIZATION
If your lips are discoloured in any way, brown, cool, dark-toned, hyperpigmented, or melanin-rich, and you wish to get lip blush, you MUST neutralized them first. There is no exception. You must submit photos before booking your appointment so we can approve.
The initial session can range anywhere using bright orange/yellow colours to neutralize your lips. They will NOT heal orange/yellow.
Please keep in mind that neutralization is a process and requires patience. Multiple sessions are required and you will be charged for the extra fees. Touch ups are not included. Each session can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks apart.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I MAY NOT RETAIN ANY PIGMENT AT ALL?
- Some clients’ skin may react to trauma of the tattoo and skin may try to push out the foreignbody of the pigment by producing extreme scabbing, so the pigment will eventually disappear with the scabbing. There is a condition called Pigment Allergy (PPD Allergy, a condition known by dermatologist) or Auto Immune Disease symptoms (client may not even be aware of it). The skin would have over-reacted and become super sensitive to the pigment and will reject it once skin heals
- Every client’s skin is different and healing varies per client, this service is never guaranteedand more than 1 or 2 touch ups may be required at the clients expense
IS IT REALLY NECESSARY FOR TOUCH UPS?
- This will depend on your preference. The first appointment is about structure, design, andbuilding a layer of layer of pigment for a very natural look and a more defined shape
- Keep in mind that lip blush will fade about 40-50% once healed
- Do not expect perfection after one session. Touch up for lips are highly recommended, especially if it was a neutralization session
- Generally, we recommend a touch up 6 weeks following the initial session to fill in areas thatmay not have healed properly or patchy. 8-12 Weeks if your lips have darkness and required neutralization.
- If you are opting for a bolder, brighter look, or need more layering for dimension, then a secondtouch-up session is recommended to layer more pigment into your skin
- Some may need a 3rd or 4th session to complete the process.
CAN I STILL GET LIPS DONE IF I HAVE HAD PREVIOUS LIPS TATTOOED?
Clear photos with good lighting and no filters will have to be sent to info@thebrowcreator.ca and get approved before booking an appointment.
Not all lips can be corrected / covered.
HOW DO I KNOW YOUR EQUIPMENT IS CLEAN?

LASH LIFT & TINT
WHAT IS LASH LIFT & TINT?
A lash lift is essentially a perm for your natural lashes that provides a lift and curl for weeks. Lash lift offers eye-popping results by creating a natural curl and lift to your lashes.
Everyone has different lash lengths and growth directions so this lash lift allows you to wake up with curled lashes without having to use a curler, apply strip lashes or get extensions.
It is such a low maintenance service so it is perfect for those who don’t have time or know how to apply on strip lashes everyday.
A lash lift will enhance your eyes by making them look more open and awake.
The great thing about lash lift is that you can customize it. What does this mean? It means that all lash lifts are not created equal. We can alter the tightness of the lash curl and add a tint to make the lashes look thicker and darker. During the consultation, we can decide what look would be best suited for your eyes. Whether it is a soft and natural curl or a tighter lash curl for a more dramatic look.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM LASH EXTENSIONS?
Lash lift is a perm that bends your natural lashes over a curved silicone shield and applying a perming solution.
Lash extensions are artificial eyelashes that are added to your natural lashes to extend their length and thickness.
HOW LONG DO LASH LIFTS LAST?
A lash lift will typically last about 6-8 weeks depending on your own natural lash growth and how well you take care of your lashes. Lash Lifts only changes the shape of the hair that Is processed – it does not change the shape of the hair that grows out. The lashes may appear wonky when it grows out.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO GET IT DONE?
It is recommended to re-lift lashes every 6-8 weeks depending on the clients growth cycle and aftercare. The faster the natural lashes grow, the sooner the lash lift will grow out. To maintain neat and lifted lashes, the natural lashes will have to be re-lifted every 6-8 weeks.
WILL A LASH LIFT DAMAGE YOUR LASHES? IS IT SAFE?
Lash lifts will not damage your lashes if done properly. The Lash Lift System which is used is a Health Canada registered system. It is manufactured to be in compliance with Health Canada Regulations.
During the treatment, your eyes are covered on both the top and bottom with protectors. The perming lotion and setting solution are carefully applied to the eyelashes, not to the skin. If for some reason these lotions come into contact with the skin or eye, they can be wiped away and flushed with water.
Age has a huge affect on the strength and growth cycle of lashes, due to change in hormonal and protein levels. Lashes get weaker and thinner with age as hormone levels and building blocks for hair growth decrease. Older clientele may have weaker natural lashes. Lifting weak lashes can damage the lashes.
CAN I USE MASCARA ON TOP OF THE LASH LIFT?
Yes, but never any waterproof formulas. Waterproof mascara dehydrates the lashes in order to stay on which causes breakage to the lash. You should wait at least 48 hours following your treatment before applying any eye makeup.
DO THEY DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
No, lash lifts should not damage your lashes. Even if you end up with a lash lift that goes a little wrong, the effects of the procedure are only semi-permanent. Eyelashes naturally fall out and regrow every 4 to 6 weeks, so you won’t have to worry about damaging your lashes long term.
INELIGIBILITY/DISQUALIFICATIONS:
